Mos Steph as a bear fetish. Not "teddy bears" but just common black bears, the ones who will claw your entrails out just to get a Jolly Rancher outta your pocket (unless it's Green Apple flavored, bears HATE Green Apple flavor!) She wanted to do a black bear item and decided on a set of coasters. About half way though the first coaster she had the brilliant idea to do a Warhol type series of bears. Genius!
Here are the bears, before their firing in the kiln.

And now after firing.... are you ready for awesome? I'm not sure you are...

Are those not the coolest things you have ever seen? I love them so much I might have to steal them. I think Mos Steph needs to make more and start selling them! She'd make a mint!
I picked a trio of tiny dishes, all with 4 cute round feet. For my first dish I continued my "Donuts Under the Sea" series with a sweet little octopus getting ready to enjoy a delicious sprinkle donut.

One of the tentacles found it's way onto one of the feet!

Facial hair is all the rage. Beards and moustaches are the new mohawks and skinny jeans! This little dish is my moustach homage.

My last dish is for the upcoming holidays, painted to look like a festive peppermint.

And here are my dishes after firing...
And that's another crafty escapade for the books...donuts, bears, peppermints and 'staches!

love the stache plate!
you're a natural! My favorite is the mustache, it's hillarious. I can't wait to get there with you and the girls and make something!
