I cannot tell a lie, I love Chronicle Books. Their variety and quality is second to none, plus they are one of the friendliest book companies in the world. Their support of bloggers large and small plus the way they have embraced all forms of social media have make them one of my favorite web sites, Facebook pages and Twitter feeds.
This holiday season Chronicle is making one blogger and reader very, very happy. They are sponsoring a "Happy Haul-idays" blog giveaway, giving away 2 gigantic prizes valued up to $500 each!
Here's the details;
I'm gonna give you my ultimate Chronicle Books wish list, you comment on it and we're BOTH entered to win! If you have a blog then you can post your wish list, I'll comment on it and we'll both be entered to win again! In fact, you can comment on EVERY blog that enters and get more entries to increase your chances!
One blogger will win their wish list and one of their readers will also win!
For more information on posting your own blog and submitting it to Chronicle, check out their web site.
In the coming weeks you will also be able to find a list of the participating blogs on the same page so be sure to bookmark it!
Now, for my Chronicle Books wish list!
In order to help me reach my One Million Steps goal, I'd like to utilize their City Walk decks. These guides feature 50 perfectly sized walks including easy-to-read maps, each printed on their own heavy duty card and housed in a very convenient storage box. I'll be able to easily traverse the canals of Amsterdam, the generous public spaces of San Francisco and historic Rome!
I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a little stressed with all that travel so I'll need a way to relax when I'm not ticking off steps.
Now, I love to take and post photos of my adventures but sometimes I get in a rut with taking the same old boring photos. I'll need a little photographic inspiration!
Certainly I'll have time to ponder things while walking and traveling. I'll probably have so many thoughts that I'll need to get them out of my brain and onto paper. I don't want to take my laptop so I'll need a nice journal.
I'll need some reliable advice!
And information about where to stay!
A fine selection of postcards to mail home!
And finally, some inspiration when I write my inevitable memoir which will CERTAINLY be picked up and published by Chronicle Books!
All of those should help me easily and quickly reach my goal, don't you agree?
Please comment with your favorite or dream travel destination and don't forget to include your e-mail address so Chronicle Books can find you if we are the winners, and...FINGERS CROSSED!
