Since finding a vintage 80s Ziggy stitch pattern book I've been looking for just the right person to make one for. I wanted someone funky and clever, someone who would appreciate Ziggy's more caustic side. And lo, that person be Molli Gamelin, the smart woman behind my previous blog, 2010 Mile High Dispensary Awards.
I only have a pic of the framed, finished piece, no progress shots. It was just a basic cross stitch on baby blue Aida 14 count cloth, with metallic silver thread for the skate laces and centers. The saying took some time to decide upon. I wanted something a little snarky but not vulgar and something to compliment the very self-satisfied look on Ziggy's face.
I hope to make other Ziggy pieces in the future but I really enjoyed this first one and I know Molli will give it a good home!
